This feature documentary is about the Colorado River at this critical moment in her life. The film will give voice to the river, treating her as the main character and reminding the audience of her living presence in addition to being a resource in our lives. In addition, intimate, human stories representing various viewpoints throughout the basin will help showcase the core conflicts surrounding the river's use, and provide ideas for ways to move forward for the benefit of the river and her people. 

 

Understanding that this is an immense, historically charged and complex topic, we aim to discover personal, human stories that help represent the broader tensions and possibilities facing the river and all who live in her watershed.
